Ferguson

Ferguson

It happens every day and no one notices

It’s not the first time shots were fired

At an innocent black man in the streets

This time Ferguson next time Washington

One system controls the lives of thousands

Constrained by the eyes of the police

A smart kid from high school lost his life

Won’t even have the chance to meet his wife

Shot in the top of the head

One shot didn’t seem to be enough

Didn’t even get a chance to look back

Last thing he got to see was the sidewalk crack

Blood on the street

 And everyone got to see

What can come out of police brutality

My country
