The Fellow (pt. 3)

Fri, 08/20/2021 - 15:23 -- Aegis

Once, there was a fellow

He sat

And when storms arose to the west

He waited

There came a warning from his friends

Who were moving to New Orleans

But acknowledging them all

He sat

There once was a fellow

Who cried

That loneliness found him

Inside

Whether from great distances over

Or from the next bedroom over

His friends all held him, and yet

He cried

A fellow once was there

He passed

A great storm of darkness came over

And reigned

The fellow stood resolutely

The rain came absolutely

And though a tear fell in dread

He passed
