Fears foundation

Philippians 2:12-13 New English Translation (NET Bible)

Lights in the World

12 So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, continue working out your salvation with awe and reverence, 13 for the one bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort—for the sake of his good pleasure—is God.

Is the purpose of the world to slowly lay fear’s foundation?

Through levels of uncertainty and thoughts about unknown

Repeated from our history hammers on precluded confusion,

which brought us constant misery as good things seem forlorn.

Is the purpose of the news only to bring sad tidings?

Are the ones who own it now enslaved to the world?

Is that the required constitution so that in every finding

All things are to be sifted out before a fake reality is hurled?

When the applecart is empty can it be filled with artificial?

Some of it will look so real that some folks will bite in it.

To discover only it’s bitter and not the hunger quenching

to be fooled most every time so real, so fake and so despising.

Eloquently stated and so very true... This is the state of our world today- but hopefully, with God's grace it won't be like this for long.
