As we don't eat
We are saving lives
One kids life
And one family that strives

We do it cause we care
We want people to know
What's going on in the world
We don't do it for show

It's awful how they must live
Everyday, so poor
But rich in spirit
For they have Jesus to live for

The children are dying in the street
Nothing left to live for
The world doesn't see the side
Of all the weak and poor

We look the other way
Like they don't matter at all
They don't get the help they need
We need to answer their call

It's our responsibility
To give them the care they need
To help feed the poor
And to recognize their plead
