Family

Is this what you call a family? A broken girl, an angry dad. A joyless mother, an empty brother. A noiseless dog, and a purr-less cat. A fish belly up, and a flat lined drunk. A washed up car, a bike that's bent. A family that's broke, oh wait who remembers that? A deceased aunt, and a vengeful uncle. An out of touch cousin, and a tree that's swollen. The picture frame broken, sliced down the middle. A kitchen is full of their egos belittle. The rooms are empty, the sink is drained, as this family flew down the lane.
