Falling

The one thing I covet is your everlasting love,

I desire that you feel the same way too.

Things happened suddenly, but without a shove.

I can not help, but fall for you.

I was slowly descending toward the ground

With the fear of plummeting into pain.

Hoping you’d save me instead of standing around,

In trepidation of being left in bane.

You waited in patience with open arms,

You gained the power to fill me with glee

Or to ruin me and leave me with harm,

But happiness is what I foresee.

I unconditionally obtained faith,

I’ve fallen for you and with you I feel safe.
