The Fall of Silence

And as the silence ceases to exist,

It's heavy cloud becoming customary

To her dulled nerves--

His eyes shined louder.

The renewal of sharp feeling in her limp

body--for she was numbed by the farthest,

most isolated regions of her past.

No one dared to ascend with her.

The monstrosities of the overpowering silence ravaged her innocent mind,

but

His eyes and the soul within,

The meaning and emotions in those steady glances,

Pulled her out of the cloud of silence.

Her heavy eyelids lifted, she opened the curtains.

The blinding shine coming in--

her emotions she no longer concealed.

And as the silence ceases to exist;

The loud, deafening noise of thought overflowed,

Overflowing in a stare
