Faith an anchor
Faith an anchor
Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ;
it is no longer I, who lives, but Christ, Who lives in me;
and the Life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in
the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me”.
2nd Cor. 5:7 “for we walk by faith, not by sight”
Romans 1:17 “for in the Righteousness of God is revealed
from Faith to faith; as it is written, “the just shall live by Faith”.
Faith is anchored in the One ... in whom he believes
Faith looks not at what happens but from whom he receives
Faith establishes a relationship with God Who retrieves
Faith under-girds what was lost and strengthens our belief
Faith does not regard feeling for it is concerned with God
Faith follows the One believed; it beholds and rests in God
Faith’s life is unchanging ... unchanging as God Himself
Faith never alters attitude ... it is always content in God
Feeling turns on how one feels ... it beholds one-self
Faith expresses self ... the same in dark or light
Emotions induces a saint to live for himself
but the pathway of faith is exclusively for God’s delight
The interest of God is more important than one’s own
To obey the will of God is more important than one’s own
To live by sight and feeling or self-pity should be gone
If one lives by faith, not joy ... the battle will be won
A saint should not bitterly cry as bereft of life
Whenever he feels cold and dry ... empty or feels pain
For life itself is spiritual and should be void of strife
Remember divided in oneself ... leaves nothing left to gain
