The Fairest of Them All
Your lips are forever stained with the color of blood
The same color exempted from your mother's skin
As she was stabbed in the back by the man she so loved
Your hair is forever stained with the color of ebony
The same color that enveloped your father
As he took away the life of the woman who birthed you
As he heard that new voice in his ear that told him so sweetly,
“We can be together if you do this”
And your skin is forever stained with the color of snow
The same color of your new mother’s dress
As she stood on the altar marrying your father
The same man whose hands are forever covered in the color of your lips
Your new mother is beautiful in face and in body but you are beautiful in heart and soul
She looks everything the Queen she just became, but her soul is nothing but evil
There’s a villain in reign
Despite all the hate that she throws at you
True love presents itself in the man that is everything you ever wanted
But he’s also a huntsman,
Sent on a mission to end your life by the woman who wants to be the fairest in the land
Although it’s true he loves you so,
He also loves the gold in his pocket given to him by the evil queen
You really are your mother’s daughter
You’re waltzing down the same path of being murdered by a lover
But you stand with pride and say straight to his face
I am the princess and if you do this to me, you’ll never get to marry a queen
He puts down his knife and gets dreams of gold galore
As a king made through marriage he’d get so much more
You paired up together to take out the queen and once the evil was slain the King could now see
His princess Snow White was crowned as the fairest queen of them all
The huntsman thrown in jail forever covered in a traitor’s pall
Your lips as red as blood
Your hair as black as ebony
Your skin as white as snow
But beauty is never skin deep for true beauty lies below
