Every day I see the same face in the mirror.
Sometimes it stays to stare, stare for hours, contorting and inspecting every part of its surface,
It tells the mirror it is not happy with itself.

Every day I see the same face in the mirror.
Every day it stares; every day it grows gloomier,
Every day it hates itself even more,
Every day it feels the need to change.

Every day I see the same face in the mirror.
Now its older--more mature, It is still not happy with itself.
The face tells the mirror what other faces think of it---diamonds fall from the eyes of the face when
it speaks.

Every day I see the same face in the mirror.
But it is not the same mirror.
A new reflective surface, lined with a new boarder replace the old,
And a new face replaces the old--the same face.
Bright, beautiful skin replaces the old,
Sparkling eyes replace damp ones.

Every day I see the same face in the mirror,
And it is beautiful.
