What can I say about cancer?
I looked to my friends and did not get the answer.
It is scary and such a bad cry
To watch your mom nearly die.
I had to learn to take care of myself
And put my feelings on a shelf.
Even had to help my brother out
In order to get him through his doubt.
I learned that I was strong
And that I had the strength to go on.
I am thankful that she is okay
Through the cancer I found my way.
My passion, you see
Will be in a hospital helping others flee
From such a hard and frustrating line
To a healthy life where they will be fine.
