Everything's Fine

She is sick of pretending
She says as she is drawing hearts in the window steam

He was meant to be
They were meant to be
He left her alone in the night

Gone for sure
She is left in a world to face on her own

She packs her bags
Hits the road
To a place unknown
To a better life

Going day by day
With all the strength she has

Then
Crossing her path
A fool with no reason
The guilt is already there

Instead
She walks away with her head held high
She smiles upon her face
When she hears her little girl say
"I love you mommy, everything is always fine"
