Everything is Covered

Location

Do you know how that's so?

You can't reach out your hand to a person's soul. In the best world,

tangible still can't meet with intangible, can it?

In the best world, I'm picking apple trees. While the apples drop down,

you're driving home from work. What invisible string ties us together

so that at seven o'clock, we're both at the dinner table?

You like honey with your apples, and how do I

know that?

You've told me, that's why. You hand me

a carnation because you

know that

I like them. I've told you, that's why.

I also like roses, but I've never told you,

so how could you ever know?
