Everything is Awesome With a Second Chance

I was 16, staring out the window, wondering why I was alive.

I was 16, angry, wondering why things had to happen in certain ways.

I was bitter and I eventually almost gave up, hopefully you never feel the same way.

But maybe one day you will be sitting on a couch looking at the people in front of you.

And you will think this is what life really is. And that's the moment you realize why everything happens.

And you are scared and so happy you can scream.

God can bless a child of the divorced with a whole new side of family.

And though you may fight and yell, you know that it is a second chance.

And as you listen to a step moms laugh, or the courage of a sister, you smile so big inside.
