The Road of Life
The Bible is like a cannonball, along
the road of life.
It teaches us right from wrong
and cuts like a knife.

It is full of lessons we endure all lifelong.
It teaches us to live, love, and laugh.
It makes us oh so strong.
It helps us to look at the whole and not the half.

I am the golden calf,
serving as an idol when he was gone.
I am the service staff
who gets up at dawn.
I will plot my day like a graph,
Every injustice I will act on.
