Every morning I wake up

Every morning I wake up

Look in the mirror

I ask myself these questions

“Who Am I? What Makes Me Different?”

What I see in this reflection

A woman who is fierce

Who is not a afraid to stand up for herself

But, not just herself

She is the glue

The person that makes everything flow

This damsel was not always as strong

For while she hated herself

She had to go threw so many wars

And, countless heartbreaks

Thought that she wasn’t worth it

Trusted and loved too many

Ended with nothing in return

One day she put down her foot

She was not going to be that girl

Convince herself to love her

how she wanted to be love by someone else

She was finally at peace with herself

That day she became a woman

Now it’s your turn

Who Are You? What Makes You Different?
