On Every Little Street, In Every Little Town (For The Broken Home)

Let's say I've learned my lesson
Over and over again.
I swore that you would change...

...yeah, right...

But it's not you who's changed.
It was me.
Am I better for it,  you say?
Doesn't matter to you any way

Same broken road, broken home,
Crazy glued together for show.
All the same,
But it isn't.. in a way.

I want to wake up once without
wishing
   hoping
      praying
That I could count on you.

Because I don't need you.
Not really.

I'll leave you alone, with these holes
and cracks in the ground.
Because I'm tired of feeling

trapped

On every little street,
In every little town
