Everlasting Spark

Splendid as a thousand suns,

Gleaming as the woman runs.

No one thought the light could be put out,

Til disaster tore her heart out.

Running in the gloom of her heart,

Destroying herself - every part.

The sun no longer gleams.

Her head is filled with screams.

Running as her life continues on,

On

      and on

                  and on

                              and on,

Trying to catch up with the past.

She never thought it wouldn't last.

Now she's running in the dark.

She's lost her everlasting spark.

A child who has lost her sun,

So all she can do is run.
