Even in darkness

Psalm 19:1

The heavens declare the Glory of God;
the sky displays His handiwork.

Darkness on the outside ... where is morning glory?

A small light on the inside sufficient for my call

All appears so right ... a living allegory

that with gentle might embraces my receptive all

An early morning capture ... of time away from night

There was no hindrance there ... I had artificial light

Just a flip of a switch and an area became bright

and pushed away the darkness carrying its own fright

How little do we understand about invasion of the night?

It pushes the day away like it always had the right

But in the Eternal where God’s Glory is the Light

Darkness has no influence ... removed by God’s might
