Emotionless
Standing tall
Shoulders straight
Head held up high, but barely
All other pairs of eyes are cast astray
Allowing for thyself to let out a sigh, barely audible
Internal emotions fight the propensity to be made aware,
External, exposed for all to hear
Only in the dark of night at days end,
do the waterfalls begin streaming down, unrelentless
Realization of what’s lost finally settling in
