A word you hear almost everyday,

but are we really living it, breathing as we are supposed to?

Words can define you but you can also use them to bring out the best,

as most people believe that it is out of their comfort zone, to be heard.

At a very young age, we are all taught to be silenced, 

not a word or you will be critizised by someone "greater" than you.

Words left unspoken can be used as weapons against anyone or anything.

As we continue on our daily lives,

meaning gets lost, 

words are just another tool for the everyday person,

humanity is just another lost cause.

Eventually, the word has lost it's worth, 

just another boring definition in a textbook. 

But as humans, we can bring this word back to life,

change it's entierty, revive the age old term 

"Empowerment"
