Emotions Walking With You

Wed, 01/08/2014 - 14:00 -- Jaywing

Imagine your emotions walking beside you instead

of residing within your stomach or throat

or wherever normal people's emotions reside

(Mine like to take up residence in my ribcage, nestled between my lungs)

Imagine finding Sadness curled up, weeping in the corner - again!

And there's Rage walking beside you, invisible

to any eye but yours, spittin on those that he/she despises

(I try to let my emotions decide what gender they are, so I'll give yours that liberty as well)

Imagine if Weary sat there ALL DAY, staring at you with

watery eyes, practically glaring if I must say so,

urging you to bed - or else.

(Weariness can be rather threatening.)

Imagine being one of those crazy few who shirk their emotions, burying

them like dead corpses

Imagine how much people might be envious of them

(If emotions walked beside you instead)
