Eclipse

Where are you?

It's been so long

since I have felt your warm, comforting light

I've forgotten how it feels.

The moon has eclipsed your bright splendor,

darkness has cloaked over your mellow glow.

Every now and then,

I see you peeking in.

But it's not enough.

I know you're still there,

but it's hard to believe sometimes,

when all I see is pitch black.

Everyday I wonder,

Will I ever see you again?
