The nature of anything exists but for a moment; change just one variable and behold a variation. Are you entertained or are you hypnotized? You’ve relieved your symptoms but your illness remains. Live free, not lawlessly. Allow the consequences to be the discipline.

I was fascinated by the connections to science in the beginning of the poem. I had never really thought about it this way before reading this poem, but life is an experiment, and every move we make affects the outcome of who we turn out to be.
