Dry Water

Dry Water

Deep within a centuries past, each drop evaporating; forbidden to last.

Words like sand falling through my mind, hitting the ground like cement, breaking each time.

Like tides of golden light, it never lasts forever, like the dark side of the moon, unknown and un-ventured.

Words like broken light bulbs, their power long forgotten, spilt and shattered and pollute the mind molten.

Like ink smeared across its thoughts, memorable to its brothers, lost in its wonder, fall within and sink below these distant and ghostly waters.
