dreams untold

a child not yet 7 years old,

her dreams are filled with love and hope.

she looks at you for guidance, for love and hope.

she believes you will protect her from evil and gives you all the trust.

and you tar her little world apart.

only 6 years old and now knows what the real world is all about.

She see the tears, the fears, the abuse.

She runs to you for shelter from the unforgiving monster.

He drinks and drinks, with every beer getting meaner and meaner.

he brakes out in to a full blown rage the children go to there rooms to go to bed.

and she peek out her door and see what he has done...

tears slowly fall burning her checks like acid rain...

she waits for the monster to go to sleep.

then she sneaks in bed with her knight in shining armor.

you tell her shes ok... that everything is going to be ok.

and she slips in to a childish sleep, rapped in his arms....

only to awake to the screams of a women that she knows and loves.

she holds you tighter never letting you go.. and at this moment you know that your her only light in this dark world...

and that doesn't even last that long.

for you are just like the monster...a son of his own...to follow in this foot steps.

destroying all that might have been yours.
