I have a dream, but nothing as MLK, because those were his words & this here is what I say. Oppressed day after day, they tried to put us on the back burner & burn us into nonexistence, but still we made it, continued living. One by one we took a stand, endured every single beating when they wanted to fuse our skin with the land. As time passed, they falsely helped us up just to beat us down to the pavement. Nowadays some may say they should of treated us better, because once upon a time blacks were one of the reasons whites saw any payments. Endured through the violence, until one day we passed it. Participation in racism & slavery, as if it was a sport & considered a classic. Forced to hide our intelligence, because they knocked it. Selfish quotes of, “Keep them stupid, it will keep more money in our pockets”. The fact that their minds held concepts of killing black children, without knowing the difference, & finding it non-criminal. High ego trips taken out on us, so clearly we were belittled. Lifespan in his hands, yet he didn’t have a plan of what he would do tomorrow. Sorrow, from the death of his mother & father, not only that, but also anger from the death of his daughter. The master drove him crazy! He was hung & witnessed my many, after he murdered the master’s baby. Centuries passed, while "masters" became more lavish. Guess they finally understood you couldn't expect people not to get mad in a world filled with madness.
