Dream of Grandeur's Veil

Wed, 05/28/2014 - 09:53 -- JuliaC
Faintly they dream of grandeur's veil
Dream of dreamer's truest last field
Rosegardens purest where languors yield
Ecstasy shrouds, a satin shield.

Hiding from existence's existent wield
Opal cloaks of chimera keep thee concealed
Curse betrayal of thy ambiguous spieled
Ignis fatuus need not be revealed.

And when from slumber thy have keeled
They pray again for fantasy sealed.
