A March that led a civilization
a fight for our rights
side by side to protect the negro nation
bringing the unjust to the light
from black panthers to black writers
to young mothers bringing up young brothers
we started out as fighters
a nation, a civilization moving forward
slam, on civil rights for the men that marched
slam, for the man who had a dream
slam, for the man who peacefully taught
slam, for the man who reign supreme
applaud Rev. Dr Martin Luther King
because ladies and gentlemen, we are the dream..
