Dream on

Acts 2:17

17 ‘And in the last days it will be,’ God says,
‘that I will pour out my Spirit on all people,
and your sons and your daughters will prophesy,
and your young men will see visions,
and your old men will dream dreams.

Dream on

Dreaming here in Dixieland with a band of trombones

Softly singing good old hymns of never to be alone

Things seem to be well in hand as the music turns to home

As God waits patiently and is smiling seated on the Throne

Lovely are the thoughts of them as they have glory in their faces

It was worth the waiting then as the angels' whisper: “Amazing”

I can’t even remember when I ever thought to trade places

With the rulers of this world and them who place trust in human "races"
