Down the hall

Here we go again

Same old routine

why can't you see

I've liked you from the very first day

from that very first week

And you've got a case of amnesia

But I must object

You couldn't have forgotten

Was I the only one who cared

Oh darling come on

We would look so good together

Standing there down the hall

Talking about sweet nothings, and homework assignments of classes we have together

History, English, Science, and whatever electives we want

Please say something I'm losing hope

I've been givin out clues, and all you ever do is never notice

How could you not know by now?!

Was I not obvious enough?

Maybe we could be a masterpiece if you would just catch on

I can't just tell you, because I can't risk another goodbye, me and my broken heart are all that I have

So what do you say, we meet there down by the hall
