Don't Do it Alone

As hope is lost and faith is torn,

so light is broken, left unseen,

It's hard to grasp the thread of strength

needed to last that final reach.

Your truth is fallen, seeming wrong,

your wounds are raw and cutting deep

Humility alone won't bring relief

from all the pain and all the grief.

So, when bursting thunder rents you through

and darkness threatens without end,

keep in mind the simple truth:

You can't be found without a friend.
