Don't Deny it.

Don't deny it. You aren't who you once were, life has progressed, life has gotten harder, and the world isn't the happy fun place it used to be. Innocence being taken before its time, murder in the streets, unthinkable crimes being committed, this is the world we are living in. Times have changed and you realize you are changing with it. The smile you had for so long doesn’t make an appearance as often. The laughter that filled your life isn’t resonating as often. The stress grows and for the first time you wonder if it’s all worth it. You stop to think and question yourself, “Who am I? What is my purpose?” and you realize you don’t have the answer. Don’t deny it, you wish for the old days when the world was a gentler place, when you could smile freely, when you could laugh with all your soul, when you didn’t question yourself and everything you believe. You wish the clock could turn back and take you back to that place, but you know it can’t. You are what You are because of the world we live in. Don’t deny it.
