Does Anyone Notice?

Captured and cold,

She stands all alone

Feeling broken and betrayed,

She's overwhelmed by pain

She thinks no one hears her, she feels ignored

She's in a crowded room, but feels alone in the world

Does anyone notice her crying at all?

Does anyone know that she's going to fall?

Someone please help her and show her she's loved,

“For God so loved [her] He sent His Son…”

---

He's fighting the insults and covering the bruises,

All anyone does is treat him like a nuisance

He feels invisible, not wanted and hated,

All joy he's ever had has come and faded

He pulls up his hood, and turns up the music,

His escape from reality (or the corrupt version of it)

Does anyone notice he's drowning in pain?

Can anyone show him the Son in the rain?

---

Please, everybody, stop all the hating,

That kid you just laughed at could be a life needing saving

There are hearts everywhere being ripped apart,

By the lies and the hate of hell's fiery darts

Please, everybody, look up above,

Ask God to help you show others love

There are people everywhere crying for salvation,

Love's power is out there, let's lead the invasion.
