Do You Have A Soul?

I see them walk

Their hearts are on their sleeves

Trying to prove that the world can’t make them cold

They act like its all they need

I wish it were so easy

to have a soul

Don’t think you do just yet

You’ve got to fight to earn it

Those scars are too easy to get

If you want to prove you have  a soul

Be warm in a world turned cold.

Can you kneel in the dirty ice

Sacrifice one more time

Believe it will be all right

when its obvious it won’t

I’m sick of hearing what you need

Can’t you see cant you see

Don’t think you’re selfless yet

You’ve got to fight to earn it

Your pain is too easy to get

If you want to prove you are love

You have to give some up
