Do, Don't Think

The only thing we have to fear

Is fear itself and it’s now here

My fear was great

But as of late

I have conquered it.

I was afraid of public speaking

But now I can stand in front of a crowd

Although sometimes it leaves me reeling

I have learned to not back down.

That is how I conquered my fear

I stopped thinking and started doing

That it the basis of bravery, I think

To do instead of think.

Now whenever I worry or fear

I stop thinking and get going

When the going gets tough

The tough get going

And so now when I’m scared

I just go through.
