do all good things come to an end?

three years

approximately 1,095 day’s

that gave time for the pressure to build up

causing the tension between them unbearable

it caused her to sprint like her life depended on it

he chased after her so fast

he felt like he was flying

his heart beat thumping against his rib cage

his rib cage that has her initials written out elegantly

she was the love of his life

or so he thought

until doubts started clouding both of their minds

she didn’t want to stop running away for him

and from the problems that were conflicted

with in the amount of time they were together

everything is already as bad as it could be

their relationship wasn’t as good as it seemed

even to them

they ignore the problems in the beginning

and ended up leaving them

because they were too cowardly

to work anything out

they were too frightened by the

hot tears that would spill down their cheeks

and the ruthless words that would leave their mouths

when their tone began to rise

they were too scared,too tired

she was tired of running

and he was tired of chasing

causing them to stop and think

that there is a solution to the

problems that they made larger

than they actually were

they realized

they understood

that it was time to pick up the broken fragments of their relationship
