I watch them enter, I watch them leave
I stand there hoping with an open hand
In return they end up avoiding me
I remain determined and continue to stand
Maybe, just maybe someone will be kind
1, 2, 3, 4 and many more pass me by
They act like they cant see me; pity blind
I wish they knew I am a pretty cool guy
I still watch them and every bite seems divine
I feel my stomach nodding in agreement
Impatient they seem, while I wish to be in line
I just for the change they just spent
I watch them leave
Hoping for someone to be kind
Because that bite seems divine
