I'm different

because of the way I speak

the way my rose pedal lips curve when it meets the curl in my bubblegum tongue

my accent strong and unique

people laugh at me

I'm different

because I choose not to eat

let my stomach growl and run wild

my skin clings to my bone

which provide sharp edges to my physique

people use their eyes to bore holes into me

I'm different

my emotions run deeper than the nile river

thoughts haunt me

my soul run into a dark abyss

people don't think about associating themselves with the likes of me

I'm different

because I don't cry

commit suicide

or resort to any type of violence

I'm different because I normally choose to write like no other foreign or anorexic
