Die to self

Galatians 5:1-5          New English Translation

Freedom of the Believer

5 For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be subject again to the yoke of slavery. 2 Listen! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you at all! 3 And I testify again to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4 You who are trying to be declared righteous by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace! 5 For through the Spirit, by faith, we wait expectantly for the hope of righteousness.

Satan will be dis-employed if the flesh is under the power of death

Crucified with Christ to God that is our daily rest

Satan really does not mind if the flesh remains good

That we’re trying to keep alive, and that’s well understood

For that will drive us to sin again, and in that, there’s no mistaken

For the bad and good in the flesh needs to be buried by the undertaker

For without the death, to both of them, The Holy Spirit lacks full control

and whatever we may try at that point will not be completely whole

To serve God in your strength is not serving Him at all

You’ll be serving sin instead, for there’s no faith needed in that call

I testify to every man don’t be a debtor to the law

Once you are there, and how to get back, is reacting to issues of the Fall
