Shallow breathing, clenched chest. 

They shake vigorously, as they try their very best.

 

They watch the clouds go by.

Mesmerized, they let out a sigh.

 

“Don’t let go, don’t give in”.

The anthem echoes, from the core of their being to their scarred skin.

 

Suddenly, a light breaches through the storm above.

And from the clouds comes a freeing ivory dove.

 

After all, it’s not weak to cry.

Tears fall from even the big, brave sky.
