Diamond.

Awesome is not a word you use often if talking about yourself.

Positivity is not a trait that you carry in your delicate and intricate mind.

The words that sit on your lips and sentences that dwell in your thoughts are not of the kind that would give you a sense of pride.

But what could warm the hearts of millions is your passion.

And what is awesome is your intelligence.

Thank you for your kindness, even though your family may mistake it for blindness.

And I know you don’t feel like you share enough of it,

But maybe that’s a good thing.

Maybe that’s the thing that will keep you going.

You’ll go deeper into places people could never imagine traveling.

The song of improvement plays in your head all day, and at night you reflect on it and how you could listen better.

There are words and phrases that run around each other in your mind,

And you don’t know how to tell others how they make you feel.

There are thoughts you want to share,

But as soon as you open your mouth, someone else changes the subject.

Everything you do, say, or write is a jumbled piece of mess.

And no matter what they tell you, you feel as if you’re never going to get it right.

But you’ll make it in this life, I know.

You just have to grasp the fact that

The time does not stop for anyone.

So I want you to live the way you want to live.

You can see the things you want to see.

And you have to be who you feel like you need to be.

You are a diamond

And you are awesome.
