Devotion to Nothing

I should have never opened up these wounds.

I should have never let myself give in to you so soon.

You're the one thing I want in this life.

The only thing that can bury any strife.

You made me become a different person,

a person with such life that only worsened.

You keep coming back in my life I know we were meant to be.

I just wish we can get past the distance we have, with all these seas.

I love you more than life itself.

I know you'll hurt me again but I don't care.

I'll take as much as I can of you, as much as I can bear.
