devil's kiss

her lips were a bloody crimson, calling attention in the dim lightof crowded dance floor. [her dress was hellfire, scorching those who got too close]

her voice was soft, husky

from shouting lyrics and emptying drinks.

"do you know of eden?" she asks

[that same voice compelled angels to rise against their master]

her ruby smile seems less human up closeas she leans in to her crowd of admirers."the garden is nothing compared to you." [she would know of forbidden fruit] her whispers draw them in,and oh! how they fall for her.how you fall for her honeyed lies. [it is rumored that she was favored even by God] come morning light, she leaves her lovers to find new prey.you pick up the pieces of your heart. [she was once cast aside from paradise too] she was not ruined by the fallbut has rather becomeruination. lucifer is female.she is sin, and I am damned.
