Detective Dad

You leave every morning with your suit, tie and gun,

I don't agree with you but I know you're out there serving justice for the right ones.

Every evening you come home and I'm so glad you do,

But maybe one day, you won't soon.

This job is hard and stressful too,

but I'm so lucky to have the dad I do.
