Destiny: Eye In A Key

I once met a guy

Back in 1998;

Outside the school campus

Just near the gate.

He's not good looking, to me

That time, physically;

And when he looked at me

I can tell, he's shy in a way.

Even until this day

I can remember exactly;

As he sat quietly

In grandstand, staring at me.

It's been more than a decade

Haven't seen each other nor heard;

Didn't cross our ways, nothing's been said

Not even a  word.

Then came the launching of (Facebook) FB

I received a message unexpectedly;

Asking, " How are you today?"

Sadly I replied, " Sorry, I'm quite busy."

Again couple of years passed

It seemed I'm loosing my trust;

In years of relationship I can hardly adjust

Cognizant of truth and letting go's a must.

In a room away from country,

friends and family

A prayer was uttered softly;

" God, if You've created a husband for me,

please grant me, if it's okay?"

That moment knealing tearfully

Again he messaged me;

Then I smiled and replied sweetly,

" This time I'm free."

I thought all the while

I can't figure out what He wants for me;

Surprisingly in a short while

I was able to 'see'.

I may not get or have

Whom I thought was best;

I'm so grateful and glad

For He'd given me, the one He'd blessed.

So don't worry as they say

' Cause we have Him all the way;

Kneal, bow down and pray

Believing, PRAYER's always the KEY!
