Deplorable.

It states in the Constitution,

Our beloved document,

That every man is equal.

That the freedom of speech is a

Basic

Human

Right.

However, as this country speeds up its

Slow decline,

I have noticed that basic

Has taken on new meaning.

As has human.

I worry for myself

And my peers

And my brothers and sisters.

For no longer are we basic or human, but

Dreadful

Despicable

Disgraceful

Deplorable.

What I wish for this nation is unity.

I wish for true friendship,

True family,

True community.

However the epidemic of hatred had tainted

America’s waters,

Poisoning her people beyond saving,

I fear. But still,

I wish.

I wish.
