Depart from evil ...

Job 28:28

28 And He said to mankind,
‘The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom,
and to turn away from evil is understanding.’”

To depart from evil … is running away from it.

Then start moving towards goals ... which were dreamed of in the past.

If you don’t know the direction … then the place where you’ll wind up

Is maybe worse than the one you left… and that comes very fast.

When you construct count the cost … before you start the building.

You pick a place on solid ground … before you anchor down.

Why would it be different … when you depart from evil?

You have to find a place like that … unless you go around.

There is no use to be specific … there is no use to define it.

Roaming in mind’s dessert … cannot bring solutions.

You have to get away from that … and be totally emptied

from all the places you have been ... which only brought pollution.

To travel to repentance … cannot be done by self.

I don’t know where it really is ... but far beyond “I’m sorry”.

It takes the Lord to take you there for through your tear-blurred eyes

You can’t recognize what’s in front of you … surely not true victory.

Depart! Conscience whispers … but you pay it no attention.

You don’t know the voice is there … in the ruckus of your making.

Yes it is amazing to hear any truth at all … in your fake existence

filled to the brim … with fleshly thoughts with all the faking.

“The fear of the Lord” … is it even known?

Is it ignored … and its existence denied?

Even the best among us … seem to shrug this off

and offer repent-less salvation … and call that right.
