Defend the ones I love

On the outside looking in..

Hate to tell ya but you aren’t much of a friend!

A friend is someone you can depend on,

You’ll learn what you’ve lost once it’s gone.

Unaware you are being used it’s a pattern I’ve seen too much...

Use people til they are gone you’ll always need a crutch.

But you can’t go through life like this.

When you get older and realize you have no one, you’ll see all you’ve missed.

It’s not to late to change though, there is always room to improve.

But nobody can do it for you, you gotta make the first move.

Eventually the ones you are hurting won’t let you use them anymore.

And you will be left to think about all you’ve done as they walk out the door.

Just know that not everyone you meet is so nice.

Those that you have lost, won’t let themselves be hurt twice!

I’m not the kind of person that tries to start a fight,

If you continue with these actions I just might.

Can’t sit back and watch you hurt the people that I love.

Saying stuff and showing you, I’m definitely not above!

I know everyone has their own issues, I’m not one to judge.

But I won’t sit back at watch it, cuz I defend the ones I love!
