defeating her demons

depression has eaten at her brain again,

he chains her to the bed,

he rushes her with sadness, and constanlty gives her five more minutes to sleep in.

he shouts at her, and rushes anxiety through her veins

her heart is growing weak, he thinks he can control this pain.

yet it seems he fails to realzie

the sun will always rise,

and she is done with his foolish lies.

each morning she gets out of bed,

people questions why,

to her the answer is quite simple,

being defiant may be seen as a sin,

but she refuses to let her demons win.
